Hi all,
Any body owns one of the Cabela's Creek Company pontoon boats? It is a 12-1/2 ft two-man for $1000. It is cheap but It has a lifetime guarantee!

Thanks in advance

I wanted to bring this back to the top. I was looking into the exact same boat. I believe it was the 1220. Looks like a great deal as I want to get into a two man. But what is the quality like from Creek Company?

Would it be better to shell out the extra dough for something else?

what laugh

10 foot Creek Company boats for $579.00

Good luck. I want to get a 10 footer too so I have one to take a friend along. I use my 12.5 footer as one man. wink

Thanks guys.

Tooner,
How easy is it to break it down to fit in a back of a truck? I used to own a 9' one-man and I didn't use a trailer.

I stopped by a local store to look at a few and they didn't have any. I was told to check steel header or outcast he said they are about $2000-2500 I am sure they are better quality but the lifetime guarantee on this one sounds pretty good if it is backed by Cabela's. I can't decide. I should have kept my 9' beathead

Tooner,
Are you fishing? How is your boat?

I just got done helping out with the peace march in Seattle. Did some peace keeping and crowd control.
I plan on hitting the rivers hard this week. Probabaly heading out to the west end wed.-fri. I have had my new boat out 2 times now. nothing to brag about, but landed a fish each time. I think for your buck the Creek Company is the way to go, it will do anything you ask of it, Unless you plan on doing some major class IV and V rivers on a regulare basis.
I really like the 8 ft oars. And the girth of this boat is a bit wider and feels very stable. thumbs
