There is a push in our local media about farm or "feedlot fish". Here is the link: www.SectionZ.info. What do you think? Is this information true or is somebody stirring the pot just to be a horses tail ?

It's a pot stirrer, all right! Promoted strongly by commercial fishery people, and not for your well-being, I'm sure. The GMO freaks loves this stuff too.

There are drawbacks to pen raised fish, no doubt, but there are drawbacks to everything, aren't there? If you think the world needs to be fed, we have the technology. Responsible use of the technology will always be a battle. But the Big Green God (money) always wins.

just my $.02.........let er rip! beer

The less food link is true, but then in the atlantic they grind herring for pig food. There is no way we can sustain harvest at current or increased levels, things will change and technology will help close the gap as will a reduction in population(fewer folks= less food)
I just hope we don't lose to many stocks before attitudes swing back to consevation.

Of course then I read farther into it and they are *****ing about the sewage problem?
Take this for what it is but Victoria dumps the raw untreated sewage of 350,000+ into the Straights every day AND they have no plans whatsoever to do anything about it... beathead
