heard about CERISE colored prawns for spinner rigs!??? Was wondering if any of you knowledgable folk had heard of this?If so where do you get prawn coloring for that shade??? By the way CERISE is basically chaurchuese right???? Thanks for any info on the subject. Where can i get directions to make my own prawn spinners?

This springer was taken from below my parent's house on the Willamette some years ago on a cerise prawn.



Okay, it's not a quarter of a century back or so ... but about 10-12 years.

Cerise is actually hot pink. You used to be able to buy prawns at the bait shop already dyed pink, I'm sure you still can.

FYI, rather than the prawn spinner, I used to simply rig them to roll like a herring and trolled them.

Perhaps a few of the readers might be able to help you more with improvements over the last ten years

I don't know jack about prawn spinners. I do know that is one dandy hat ya got on there Bob.

Well once more I'm humbled by the Pro!!! For some reason I thought CERISE was chaurtruse???? Thanks for clearing that up Bob!!!! Ive got a nice home brew for that coloring!! Anybody know where to find instuctions on building of prawn spinners???

Hey there Steelyman, They have prawn spinners on sale at GI Joes intill this Sunday for 1.99. I was looking at them also but wasn't to sure of them. Seeing Bob's pick there may just have me buying a few. They also had herring spinners to knock, but not on sale.
