wormyhermie Parr Registered: 01/24/02 Posts: 55 Loc: Tacoma	Thought this would be a fun topic. Just what lengths have you gone to to save a buck? Here's what got me thinking. I just purchased a eagle silver series 600 from boaters world for $129.00. It was to replace the lowrance that we took off and put on the other boat. Well when i called Lowrance a couple weeks ago, they said that to get a new cable set- up for the lowrance was $160.00.(was thinking of just sharing the unit.) So i said forget it. Then low and behold. the eagle comes with the EXACT same transducer, and you get a free coupon to send in for speed and temp. If i had known ahead of time, i'd have felt proud. now just lucky so if anybody likes to brag (doubt it)... _________________________ "but honey, worms are graceful that's how they catch fish."-Gigi.
