Get ahold of Rapid Robert, he's a guide that is here on the board, and he fishes salmon and steelhead. We fished with him for springers on the Wind River in early April. We only got one fish, but it was really early in the season,he told us the fishing wasn't red-hot,but we chose to go anyways. He's a great guy that really works hard to get you some fish, and he is really funny. We had an absolute blast, even when the fishing was slow.He has an awesome boat,top-notch gear and a hell of a BBQ shore lunch. Here's a link to his site WWW.RiversNW.com

I don't know if they have any openings however I see your "home 20" is Everett so the Skykomish would be your most convenient best bet, try calling: Sam Ingram: 360-435-9911 Rod Bush: 206-367-0514 Rob Endsley: WWW.kulshanexcursions.com Cal Stocking: 360-428-0538 You and your dad would be happy with any of these guides. Sam is stricly driftboat, the other three can do sled or driftboat. Your best bet would probably be a mid-week booking (less traffic) sidedrifting in a sled; however Sam is an expert on the Sky backtrolling bait for hatchery steelhead and summer chinook.

Or, come to the coast her you can find some jumbo springers come mid-June ... a few summer runs as well and a drifter setting instead of power ... If interested, give us a call and we'll set things up for you
