Hey I finally turned 16 and got my license. I can start exploring new rivers now. I've fished for steelhead for 4 years now and have had moderate success fishing primarily the Green and once in a while the Snoqualmie when my dad will get his butt outta bed and drive me down there. I can walk to the Green from my house. My question is now that I can drive where are some good areas to start exploring for summer runs on both the Snoqualmie and the Skykomish. Not asking for secret spots, just some well known areas that I can drive around and fish. E-mail me if you don't want to post it. Thanks for the help.

sturza on the snoqualmie its selective gear regs from june 1 to nov 30 no bait barbless hooks no sent i think that sucks but what are you to do i use to nail the summer runs on that river with bait but iam still going to give it a try the sky s another story

No problem on the selective gear regs. I use primarily a jig and float and I almost always pinch the barbs so that doesn't present a problem.
