ON a recent trip to Neah Bay I slipped and fell right when my fishing buddy handed his rod to me with a huge fish on the line. The rod flew through the air and landed in the water sinking as the fish pulled it away from the boat. I need to find a Lamiglas rep or someone with an old Kenai Guide model so I can replace my friend's rod. This was not a new rod but in pretty much perfect shape. I sent an email to Lamiglas but got no response. Fortunately I have 6 or 7 of the reels I need to replace. Anyone have an avenue to make this a less painful deal?

grandpa,
Is the Kenai Guide the same as G1313T? I believe it used to be called the Kenai Guide but the current Lami catalog lists it as something else. Its a 8'6" 10-20lb, wt 3/8 - 2oz.
I wasnt going to sell it, but I have several others that can do the job it does. Played quite a few nice kings out at westport with this rod last Sunday. Its about 3yrs old and has the usual wear on it, but no major defects.
Id be willing to let it go for $80 if your interested.
Hope this helps
RL

You could talk to Bill Herzog at Sportco. He may have something laying a round. Just a thought.

You could always just buy a new rod for him. If he's a good buddy he probably deserves it.
