My buddy and brother are going out with me
Saturday, and neither of them have ever caught a fish(keeper fish that is). Are the snaggers in heavy and have the Kings begun to show up? Pinks would be a blast, but Kings would be preferred. Any help would be great.
As much as I hate dealing with Hoodsport,
it might be great for these guys.

I was there 8/26 thru 8/31 fishing for kings and got nothing. I did talk to the fish checker thursday morning and he said he had only seen a couple kings so far this year but they should be showing up anytime. I did see about a half dozen pinks caught but thats it.
And yes tons of people on the weekend and still alot of people midweek a real zoo.

I was just there Friday and Saturday. Lots of people, but lots of pinks. Although, from what I saw, almost all were snagged. Talked to one guy fly fishing who hooked a couple in the mouth. But, with buzz bombs flying at them from all directions, they don't seem too interested in biting. The pinks are already starting to turn as well. The fish checker said that he's only been checking in about one king a day. Be sure to bring the crab pots!
