Depth and location are anybody's guess - although I'd add the area off the Richmond oil dock to your list.

I like to troll the green-glo splatterback coho-killer behing a green-glo hot spot. I make the leader pretty long since the spoon creates it's own hyper-action. I know that hootchies on a short leader work well and, of course, cut-plug or whole herring w/ a tight "drill-bit" spin.

My Favorite go to is any green or white green/white combination hoochie with a herring strip on the leading hook.

You have to bait the hook correctly so the hoochie doesnt loose it's action. Put the herring on and check it out in the water before deploying it. You dont want a hunk of herring sticking off that drags in the water. I tuck the head of the fillet in the hoochie head a little so it stays more streamlined.

edit: The proper way to hook the fillet is to start the hook in the meat side of the fillet at the head of the fillet, then go back through. Then run it bast the bend in the hook to the shank. This will keep the shiny side of the fillet pointed out while it spins and darts behind the flasher, and out of the gape, adding to the attraction.

In my circles it is known as "proven" because it has proved that it out fishes everything else.

Exactly what those guys said, but I'll add a couple of things.

West Point and Meadow Point are also good places to try.

Wiggle Warts, Mag Warts, Hotshots, etc trolled behind a diver or off the DRs can be effective....but usually later in the season after fish have stopped feeding and are generally PO'd.

Sky Guy has my favorite colors, except I like a green/glo/flash hotspot on one rod and a red/glo/flash hotspot on the other rod. I like that green/glo hootchie, too. Thise works fine on pinks and kings, BTW.

In the areas that you mentioned, I'd start at 20 feet deep in the morning, moving deeper to 75-90 feet as the day goes on. We were getting them pretty well yesterday at 75-80 feet.

All the areas you mentioned hold fish right now. We were fishing off Mukilteo yesterday, lots of fish there.

For an all around go to set up for silvers my money is on the flasher hootchie combo. My personal go to rig is a red Hotspot with an apple core colored needlefish squid with herring strip on a 27 - 30" leader. thumbs set the herring strip so that it makes the squid spin( the faster the better) If its not spinning it's not going to catch as much fish!

hard to beat a cut plug straight off the downrigger, nothing but line between you and the fish. <img border="0" alt="[Goldfish]" title="" src="graemlins/goldfish.gif" />
Off edmonds and muck I usually start about 20 to 40 ft and search from there. If you get alot of sun they can go deep, but the top 50 feet or so is a great place to start.

A little herring strip on the leading hootchie hook works well.

Another variation I have used is to get a piece of "string" out of a rag mop about 2" long. Loosen the line around the leading hook - like an "egg loop". Put the string half-way through. Now you have an absorbent piece of material to soak up some stinky juice...

The most productive Coho lure I have used is the Apple Core squid with mylar twinkle skirt behind an F4Piscator metal flasher by Gold Star with 22.5" of 40# leader to Razor sharp 5/0 hooks. (Gamakatsu). Fish the deeper water with the lure at about 100ft. look for schools down deep on the sonar. Speed is 2.5knots gps.

Of course all the other methods work too. Try a Tomic #603 plug (3.5")

First light, downrigger at 15 ft. Super Flasher and 20" leader(40#) and a DayGlo green hoochie or gold hoochie. As the sun comes up drop to 30 ft. Troll fast and tip top hook with herring strip. hello

Army Truck Hootchie with twinkle skirt 20 - 24 inches behind one of those new fangled break away flashers will be the first thing I sink this evening!

Also like green glo and Blue Spatter!
Spoons!
Flys!
Herring!

Smurf dropped a herring to check his roll and it got smacked 10 inches from the boat off 4 mile last weekend! Kamakaze Coho! We had just got there and it couldn't have rolled three times.
