Back in July the state fisheries stated that this is " Going to be the BEST Salmon return in 20 years". So why weren't the limits increased?? I saw many hatcheries on the Toutle, Carbon, Skokomish, Humptulips, Kalama, Cowlitz and a few other rivers. The hatchery workers told me they had more fish then they needed. 6 years ago the limits were increased on the Toutle to 6 Silvers a day, in other years it would be increased to 4 per day. I wonder what their doing with all the excess fish???

theres money in them there fish do'nt u know, the state has learned from the tribes to sell the eggs.

I believe that alot of the canal fish are being used in fertilization projects.
