You can buy extract at any grocery store.

I actually bought some off Ebay. Or, you can do a Google search for pure anise oil and you'll find a ton of natural type stores that sell it.

charr, is it cheaper buying the extract than say buying anise oil at sportco? and how well does it stay on the corkie and yarn?

Or just chew up some black licorice and spit on your bait.

brassonbrass,the stuff you get at the grocery store is extract witch isn't as strong as pure anise oil,i get the pure oil at marleans(sp) in federal way,it's a grocery/health food store.

Berkley, Not sure if it's cheaper, but you could mix it in vasoline and make your own smelly jelly. I would think the extract is cheaper than the oil.

the extract won't mix with vaseline. I' ve tried it.
