Every New Year's Eve day, Sno-King, Duke, and I fish the Sky. The day will consist of a packed lunch, snacks, beer , cigars, Crown Royal , laughter , lost gear and past women . It doesn't get much better than that. Oh, we fish a little too, but we never do well. It's steelheading, you don't expect to catch anything!

One year Duke couldn't go so we took another friend instead. We dropped him off at his home at the end of the day. His wife told him to go upstairs to get ready for the New Year's Eve party they were hosting in a couple of hours. At 8 pm she went upstairs to see why he hadn't come down yet. He was passed out on their bed still wearing his waders. He missed the party and his wife forbid him to ever fish with us again.

I always put my ear plugs in just before I go to bed That way I don't have to listen to all the nuts shoting off there guns and fireworks while they are so drunk that they can't even make a good cast the next day
