cowlitzfisherman Three Time Spawner Registered: 06/14/00 Posts: 1866 Loc: Toledo, Washington	And they ask us why we live in the Pacific North West! How many times are we lucky enough to catch the moment? I did! $\:D$ For those of you that missed it this morning, our sunrise was nothing more then spectacular! _________________________ Cowlitzfisherman Is the taste of the bait worth the sting of the hook????

It faces the Cascades so I wake up with the birds every morning. In fact we are 2000' from the nearest road and the birds are so loud in the spring and summer they wake you up before the light. It cast the most intense shade of tangerine/pink glow over the whole neighborhood. I can't imagine living anywhere other than western WA. The sun coming over the Cascades is the best. Our sunsets can't be beat either. Just think of all the east coasters that don't get the chance to see the sun dip into the ocean while you watch for the 'green flash". _________________________

Had just left the house on the way downriver to a sawbones appt., went about 1/2 mile and had to stop and watch it for a few minutes...called the wife and got her out to see it, but not sure if she took any pics. Were supposed to get more snow tonight. Got about 6" of frozen stuff now..don't need more, but it sure it a pretty sight to see coming down. ROCKFISH Spawner Registered: 12/03/01 Posts: 672 Loc: manchester,Wa	good call cowlitzfisherman, we were rolling out the tools this morning on bainbridge Island about 7.30 and every was commenting on how nice the sunrise was looking overlooking seattle from the water at the jobsite, it was a killer sunset indeed. _________________________ catch and release wild sculpins "bigger the flasher bigger the salmon"
