Well, I fished the Nootch Friday morning with no success. I saw two last run fish that were really beat up swim past me. I ran into some guys that just came from the Hoh and they got skunked up there. My buddies did the 7400 bridge drift on Sunday and although the river was pretty blown they were able to pick up 4 nates. Anyone else having any success??? From what I've heard lately things have been kinda slow and I was just wondering if it has been that way for everyone and everywhere.

Things are slow unless your an indian gill netter. I drive down to the river several times a week, since I am local, and see how people are doing. It has been slow for a long time. Nets are in 5 days a week and they are nailing the fish, of course you must release all natives. They (the gill netters) are wiping out the run for years to come. It's a joke, The DOW should advise fishermen prior to buying a license what rivers are going to have nets on them 5 days a week. People could save their money, gas and time and do something else. That's my 2 cents!!!!

Tribal netting ( murder) of steelhead and salmon has to be reduced, stopped, or their will be no fish to argue over. Simple as that.
