Is there another boat launch besides the lift close to the port of edmonds. would like to launch a 12 foot boat and dont want to pay the 15 dollar launch fee. any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

nope, sorry. Next spots are Shilshole and to the north Mukilteo. There are two boat houses inbetween but I'm not sure if either are in business anymore.

Boy would I like to open or see someone else open a new launch on the east side north of Ballard and south of Mukilteo.

The current option's don't really allow for easy and affordable access to the water which we should have a right to. Mukilteo, which is the worst maintained and sometimes most difficult launch in the sound, and Edmonds with their outrageous launch and parking fees, are not very fisherman friendly. Everett is great but it can be a tough ride for the fisherman with a boat <16ft to run to Possession, PNP, or Edmonds to fish.


Unfortunately there are very few places where a facility like this could be opened. Options along the shorline here number less than 3-4 from what I have scoped out.


Ahh... to own a launch or marina and feel compelled to fish all the time. I wonder how those guys do it!
