My buddy chovie d with his first saltwater fishies....

...and this one is my parody of Parker's grip and grins, yeah its over the top but hey, that's rock and roll:

Was one of those weekends for us where, at the crack of dawn the boat behind us hooks up triple, boats everywhere with doubles and we couldn't BUY a fish from the natives. Finally started getting into some thicker fish right about the time we ran out of kicker gas. Good thing though, I think I was about to reverse eat some of Granny's potato sald.

Slow for us but the company was good. Hope Gutz felt the same way in spite of the endless parade of hippie jokes and horrible song parodies.

Why do you think I choked it back? No way I'm givin something that good up to the fishes.

Not usually one to get seasick but the chop snuck up on me today...started to show my 'green' horns there at the end of the day.

h2o,

Absolutely loved the chovie shot!

Come to think of it, we've really got some great material here for a fantastic 2005 PP Calendar. This could be the August shot of course, but then maybe use Bob's santa helper shot for December, the guys chummin' off the Westport charter for July, a spread on the Blue Cr. flossfest for November, a no-longer-to-be-repeated Parker patented grip and grin for April, the Snoppy Classic for Jan or the sacrificial driftboat wrapped around a Hoh rock for ........ What d'ya say Bob?

Anyway 2o, hope you don't mind, I just had to boost the chovie shot for my screensaver. Best part was, when the wife saw it she thought it was my son-in-law down in Mississippi.

Eric,

It was nice to finally meet you! We did okay, landing a few here and there. We caught a number of kings, real heartbreakers up to 30lbs+, but with too many fins.

Sponge Bob got some play with a 9.5# hog, and a good time was had by all.

Eric, I have looked at your pictures a few times over the last couple days, funny as hell.

Lead- if you want to hit the salt in a few weeks once the fish turn the corner lets hook up.
