Anyone have any tips for lower river/tidewater fishing for Salmon? Haven't done it for a long time and was thinking about trying it again. We used to hit the lower Skagit a while back when the humpies came through. Did pretty well trolling Krocodiles and Steelies. Would catch an occasional silver, but mostly humpies. Anyone do this technique on the lower Snohomish for Silvers? Thanks.

I'm sure you can find a lot of such info in the archives on this board. There is a magazine called Salmon Trout Steelheader that has a lot of info on that topic in the August-September issue. It is sold at Safeway and probably other grocery stores..good luck!!

the best thing to do is find where the fish are either traveling or holding, and keep fishing there.

Try trolling orange wiggle warts. In the Snohomish, small dick nites behind a diver work well.
