I drove over to Dewatto Bay on Hood Canal and saw how nice of a spot it is. Tons of fish in the Dewatto River. No biters though.

Sat. Honey-do Sun. Spent the day with Robbin Rhoades. Fished the area just below the lake under 101 on the quinault. i landed a nice 8lb chromer. Then we fished all the way to the new slide. looking for some more color. And was there color....but there were no new fish in there..HMMMM The other boats doing the same as us so we decided to run up to the salmon. same thing....All the fish were dark and were released... so we went back to try the late bite under 101 again... ZIP...... All that rain you would think the rivers would be full of fresh fish......But just being there was worth it all......
