GH,

Your as good at deflection as Prime Minister Kerry.

BTW the "detainees" are not subject to the Geneva convention under international law. They are civilians. We have chosen to treat them by the GC. I think you could find similar abuse by a few people in every war. You should hear what my Grandfather has to say about his 4 years in the SP during WWII. They did what had to be done to surrvive after Macarthur pulled out. Are they criminals?

KK,

Yes it clear some hanky panky is going on. Yet we are governed only by our own code on this issue. Tim Russert said it well this AM and I give my interpretation of his comments. He said the American people have no stomach for this because we see ourselves as liberators. The troops see themselves as fighting a very agressive and nasty enemy. They may see the need to use unconventional means to exrtact information that will save their fellow soldiers lives. He made this point in light of some new photos showing not just gurads but Military inerrogators piling up naked Iraqis with a interpreter talking to them.

Sorry for the often repeated phrase but again What's your point King? Are you saying that Serbians being tried for war crimes should be exonerated? Should we not have had the Nazi war tribunals? Or don't you believe there is a line called the Geneva Convention which if you cross it it is a war crime?
