I don't disagree with ya there TK. The M's are going to have to take some risk sooner or later and pay some hitters. However, unless your the NY Yankees, you had better develop some kind of competitive advantage in developing your own talent. And so far, unless they have the #1 pick in the draft, the M's haven't performed very well in that area.
