yes, FTW was a great show. So tired of all those shows that think only Bass rule. I got a double bonus out of FTW, my wife fell in love with the piano theme music so much so we had to order the tape. But this sure helped her develop some positive associations toward fishing shows....and fisherman! \:D

Now, here's a test for you long time (and old)northwest residents...remember Jim Conway who hosted the Outdoor Sportsman? Was during the late 60's, early 70's on KOMO-TV 4 on Thursdays at 7:00pm (in color) brought to you by Bud Meadows Pontiac? He also did some great local fishing with steelies back when there was room to fish these rivers, and more fish in some of these rivers!

ah...fp remembers! Which also dates fp meaning he must be at least in his 4th decade :-)

Yes, Jim a bit "overweight" and with the microphone positioned so close to his mouth he was always out of breath, often sounded like a perpetual heart attack. And then there was Jim always calling out to his son....remember the name?....Stevo!

Wonder what happened to Jim and 'ol Stevo...Jim probably not with us anymore?? But they did show us some good fishin'!
