I saw my partner cast out of my boat followed by his momentum carrying him in after his bait. The stupid part about this is that he barely swims. The good part is that it was about 95 degrees that day, so it definetly cooled him down. This is the second time he has fallen out of buy boat. The first was when casting out of my 12 foot aluminum. This almost cost be going over as well. I decided I needed a bigger, wider boat in case he tried this again. It paid off. Him falling over had no effect on me, except for me laughing so hard, I almost pissed my pants.


Sampson

A few years ago while a friend was home visiting, some family friends offered to let him and his wife stay at their cabin on Hat Island for a couple of days. His wife ended up staying in CA so I went and hung out on the island with him. One night we found their kids' kayaks under the deck. So, at 1:00am, after about a case and a half between the two of us, we shoved off in the kayaks, one of which only had half a paddle. It took us a half hour to cruise down to the other end of the island and back. Dumb.

Back in '92 I took a tuna trip out of San Diego, a guy walks in to the charter office, pulls out a card and starts buying. License, pole (penn), reel (penn gold), line, tackle, everything. When we leave he buys a round of chow for all on board. When we did get into the tuna it was good, had a great time, all of a sudden a big yell goes up, Mr. gererous is tired of fighting his tuna, lets go of the pole, and it shoots into the water like an arrow! No one could believe it, he shrugs and says "I was tired of fightin' him". It even made the fishing paper there on the dock after we got back.

They told me it was nutmeg... for medicinal purposes.
