JET SLED ON SOL DUC?

We are going to be taking a small sled on the duc this weekend. I just bought a new little 14' with a 40 hp yamaha.
If you see us make sure to say hi! Wish us luck we might need it.
Anyone else taken a small sled on the duc?
What is the limit on natives? 2 fish per person? thanks Jed

I believe you may find some "resistance" to putting a motorized boat on the Duc.
Oh..it's legal all right...but as far as I know, just not something that people do...
But then...maybe I'm full of beans...

I think your right about the stirring up shiat stuff...
Did a search under the OP's ID #...sky#er was in a rather heated thread back in Dec. of 04 about a sled on the Duc.

shouldnt be a problem..... just bring a welding torch to put the trailer back together.... and maybe a couple stout garbage can lids to help block potatoes traveling at high velocity.

it is really sophmoric flame bait as well. everyoine looks at it and knows it is flame bait.
good flame bait really requires the reader to ask "is this guy really serious"
something like "safeway is offering wild line caught chinook for 35 cents/pound until fri only" folks are switching lines from the wait for star wars tix to hold places in the salmon line for friends.

The spud cannon is mounted on the deck and ready for some onshore "trolling". If you'd like to discuss the issue seriously ... it has been brought up at the OP Guides' Association meeting and there are plans to go the county regarding a ban on motors throughout most of the rivers

It's too bad you guys all feel that way...I was going to run my 21 foot Woolridge up the Bogie this weekend, but I messed up the pump running it up the upper Wynoochee on Sunday.
All the fishermen I saw seemed to approve, they all were telling me that I was "number 1"!!
Just kidding...I never was much of a troller...I'm better at casting and jigging!
