Let's see those photos! Here are the instructions provided by Bob:

Hey, about when does the WW start getting those springers? Now? Is there even any water in the WW to fish for them??? Also, are people getting them down low (by the mouth) or way up in the river?

Feel free to browse my steelhead/salmon collection. I have a few WW fish in there.

So, exactly what part of all that info I posted do you think is a crock, or a pulling your leg???? Sol's posting of my photo is an obvious troll, but I wasn't pulling your leg. I have fished a ton on the NFL. I seem to do OK on that river. What I wrote is all true and not BS.

I don't get it.

Hey, whatever. If you think I'm pulling your leg, that's fine with me. It's just free advice and info. Use it, or don't.

I fished the WW heavily in the 80's - back when it was one of the top (sleeper) steelhead rivers in the state. I haven't really fished it since I came to Seattle. I do know that land access to a lot of the good places to fish is restricted. Probably helps now to know the land owners, etc. I caught a ton of fish on that river, and have a ton of fond memories of my time there.
So you are the motor mouth that I was blamed for for showing up on the lewis, if anyone goes fishin there don't tell em you read about it on this site. Shame on you little man. If I ever see you , you owe me a beer! Them lewis boys don't care for your free advice much, and I'am payin the price. What are you some liberal. Oh Ya, They told me to ask you what kind of Boat DO YOU OWN?

I don't think this is an obvious troll, but if it is, I just bit.

There is no need to be on the water early on the NFL. Those fish bite all day long.

Unfortunately, a lot of boaters (guides included) who don't have the confidence in themselves, their gear, boating abilities, etc, find the need to be down at Oooh Ahhh at 4:30 am. (gotta be the first one at the hole!) By 6:00 am, it's a full on goat rodeo, with boats spinning circles, running over fish, etc.

The fish get run over so many times that they get a tad bit on the spooked side. Of course, since this Goat Rodeo doesn't have the confidence to fish else where (you can only catch fish at the Golf Course and Oooh Ahh, right?), they just pound and pound and pound the same old slots over and over again.

Whatever.

We ususally hit the water by 9:00, just as the last of the Goat Rodeo is leaving. We might fart around a bit, but we really don't plan on doing an serious fishing until after noon. Once the Rodeo leaves and the fish calm down, those fish bite like there's no tomorrow - all day long, sunny or not.

Up until about 3 years ago, we almost never saw any real early morning folks. Most people just hit the water at a reasonable hour, did their thing, got fish, and it was all good.

Now, I'd be willing to bet there are people in that parking lot at 4:00 am in the summer time. Amazing.

(Exclude out the guides who run multiple trips in a day. I can see where if you had the stamina to do it, that's a $$$ cow! 8 guys per day! Oof. I see $$$!!!)

Oh well. At least I get to sleep in. Unless you really like being on the water early, there's no need to. The NFL fishes better during the evening, any ways. The last 2 hours before dark are killer. Way better than the morning.
Need I Say More, BAD MAN! They all voted for bush too! Anyone have some pain killer!

it's cool my man, it's all for fun anyways and I do trust parker's report. I get similar reports from friends every year. thanks for sharing.

Wasn't my "ADVICE" to hire a "them lewis boys" guide???

Hey, if "them lewis boys" don't want clients and/or money, fine by me.

"them lewis boys" are lucky I don't spill the beans and give up their names. I've had a surprising amount of people email me asking for the names for whatever reason, I will not divulge.

Looks like this is a two way street. Everyone should just play nice now.

The Lewis is a not a secret. I have not given up any specific information.

Couple of things.

Who are "they"? Come on, be a man and tell us. Publically tell us all who "they" are. I'm sure there's a lot of people out there who would like to know.

Next, as I've stated before on many a time, I don't own a boat. I don't plan on owning a boat. I don't want to own a boat.

Not too sure how owning a boat correlates to catching fish, as from the *many* Circus Shows I've seen down there from "boat owners", owning boat is the least of their problems.

Take away Stlhdr1 and his unbelievable ability to properly run is boat, and my success rate down there would be zilcho.

All I'm doing is bringing some gear, some bait, casting in a spot that I think is fit, and holding on.

Stlhdr1 is doing all the real work.

You can be the best fisherman in the world, but if the boat is running circles, on top of the fish, or out fishing in the toilet bowl, you won't catch crap.

I give credit where credit is due. It's all Stlhdr1. I'm just along for the ride.

I just got back from a long-ass biz trip to Wichita (3 days seems like 3 weeks) and the flight over was crowded and bumpy as hell. I asked the attendant what was up and she said "that g*dd*mn Parker, he is screwing up the weather again"....then when my Heineken arrived in a lukewarm can she said "Parker again, he messed up our coolers"......and the delay in Denver?? Parker's fault again......man Parker, you are one powerful dude!!!!

I have photos of the NFL back in the 70s.....it was crowded back then, back when anyone cool enough to sport a brown Fenwick instead of a yellow Eagle Claw was king doodoo for the day.......I guess Parker was putting hexes back on the NFL in those days too, between swiping the old man's Playboys and tryin' to cop a feel off Daisy Duke's little walla walla sweet starter set next door........

No, just a couple of styrofoam hose-bib insulators. Not quite as plyable as silicone, but very firm. \:D

We were just messing with you, Sol.

See you on the SouthEastWestern Fork of the Hushhushnocantellya River on Wednesday morning.

Oh yeah, make sure the beer is *COLD* this time.

I'll bring the video camera along and shoot some video for another Opher-Bone production movie. It's been a long while since the last one! Just sure hope you don't cracker off too many fish on film. Gonna be really damn embarassing for you.
