Stories like these remind me of when I first moved up here and went to do a little fishing on a local river with my trusty 5 weight. Ended up finding a very nice slot with a nice steely hangin in it. Had managed to get on the slot without spooking the beaut and after the first presentation of a nice little wooly bugger I got a little lesson in what steelhead were all about. Needless to say I got my frikin arse handed to me. That was enough to get me hooked on fishing up here though.

Not sure TH ... web access is much tougher than it used to be since the old camp closed. We'll see how inspired I am to write & post this year!
