I haven't seen a new issue of Salmon and Steelhead Journal yet, according to their website the next issue was due out Sept 16....

Called the other day and left a message inquiring about the Fall issue. The guy from Brookwood Press returned my call yesterday and assured me that it should be arriving any day. He said it came off the press a bit late. He took the time to return my call...I belive him...

New issue came out today! Too bad there is a pic of some one with a dead wild fish of what they say is in the 30# range in it.

In the back, there's a pic of someone hold a "Snoqualime" chinook by the gills that was apparently caught at the falls???. Check it out.
The map in the article about chums in WA is a little off. Shows the Snoqualime as a fork of the Stilly, and lists some rivers I've never heard of (snokomish). That map had me scratching my head.

There is nothing wrong with giving the wood shampoo to a wild fish it all tastes the same.

Got the latest issue a couple days ago... I love this magazine!

I noticed that too...

#1, if that fish is indeed a "Snoqualmie" Chinook, its illegal... we all know that kings are off limits there...

#2- I've floated the Snoqualmie tons, and by the time those fish get to Fall City, they're pretty dark and beat up... so I have a hard time believing that fish was caught @ the Falls.
