Every New Year's Eve day, my two fishing buddies and I fish the Skykomish River for steelhead. We enjoy cigars, Crown Royal, beer , smoked salmon, crackers, cheese and Crown Royal while fishing. We rarely catch a fish(who does on the Sky anymore?) but we enjoy the day, give thanks for good things, and hope for a better new year. If you're on the Sky that day, give a wave hello, we'll be in a 20' white Alumaweld, cigars blazing, and Crown flowing. Happy New Years!

One additional thing, be safe would hate to hear a bad story

Now that the "fad" is over and my buddy got tongue cancer, I gave up on cigars.

But, in the few times that I did smoke a cigar while out fishing, I could never keep that cigar in my mouth, breathe, smoke, exhale, and reel in a fish all at the same time.

I ususally ended up inhaling some smoke, reeling like a retard, damn near getting sick from the cigar smoke, and it a fit of frustation and panic, huck the cigar over board to fight the fish.

I'm pretty sure I could drink some Crown while fighting a fish, though. Might have to give that one a try.

Since my daughter was born on the 31st, Dadda doesn't get to fish on that day any more.
