Today, there were steelhead in certain rivers, and some of them bit certain things. Tomorrow looks at the moment to hold a similar outcome, with possible/probable water level fluctation making certain fish in certain rivers less or more likely to bite some things or others. This trend will continue until the end of March or beginning of April, with some sporadic changes in quality of fishing due to quanitity of fish, fisherpeople, and/or rain. The closer you are to standing on, in, or boating above each river increases your chances of understanding which, if any, of the things i'm talking about, are making any sense.

In summation, try something pink?

No, truth is, its not all about a simple request by a kid. Its about letting the lurkers know that when they come out of the shadows and participate, their input won't be met by acerbic comments. TBird clarified what he meant, and Milt didn't have any trouble with it. But those first few posts, including the stinging rebuttals, were uncomfortable to get thru.

When someone writes on this board, it potentially will be viewed by hundreds of anglers. That alone is intimidating to some people. Add to that pressure the opportunity to be sliced up like a deli ham when you write something that violates some unwritten rule, it limits input.

My heat shields just happened to disintegrate on this particular thread because of timing more than anything. It could have happened on any number of other posts.

It bothers me when people refer to PP and is how quick people are to jump on one another. I hang out here alot. I don't like people talking crap about my 'hood.

I reread everything I wrote to make sure I didn't 'pick' on any individual in this thread. If anybody feels picked upon, please feel free to fill out a union grievance form and give it to Rafterman.

Heres a report !!!

Here's a report from Friday. Fished the bark hole, the hatchery drift, up the Clawah all the way to the upper pond, where I saw a dead buck floating belly up. Fished the pump station, one guy had a dark one and then the hatchery hole. Didn't see or touch anything. Almost drove the other direction in the morning to the Nooch.

Milton Jo. I've fished Forks and the main land rivers for 30 years and I havent fished the quilliute recently, but if you send me a private message I'd be more than happy to help you out. Nice post's RVW. I couldnt have said it better.
