I was at Sportsmen Warehouse in Federal Way today and on their report board by the entrance they had listed Angle Lk as closed till end of April. This suprised me because I thought it was open year round. I checked on the F&W emergency rules & general rules and there was no mention of it being closed. Is there another lake beside the one by SeaTac? Does anyone know anything ,I did not ask while there.
Thanks, Mike

Look up some lakes around there...
Echo Lake rolls off the top of my head for some reason although I've never fishing at Angle or Echo....

I believe it is because of work they are doing on the park. I drive by there during work and the entrance is closed. Other lakes in the general area include Star and Fenwick. Both of these lakes are smaller by half.

Yes, Angle is a year-round lake. If the lake is closed it is probably because they are doing work on the park. The park sustained pretty heavy wind damage from several fallen trees in the big wind storm we had.

I was there about 2 weeks ago casting off the dock to see how the new line on the spinning reels was working .That was why I was asking. Park was open & no signs about saying it was closed.BTY no bites but I really liked the new line.
