Welcome aboard Big Stick,
I love that 2nd shot and the camo one with both kids grinning. They scream, "we're having a great time"!
Always refreshing to see some "it's not all about me" fishing pictures too. Thanks for sharing. Keep up the good work and enjoy.

Thanks for ruining my day Sol. That's how I feel evertime some dry-humping "man of the cloth" spouts off with primative superstition.

[/b]Gee Sol, I certainly didn't mean to ruin your day. Let me change my signature for you. At this rate we might just get through Romans by the end of the month.

I release most everything, barring specimens hooked deeply or bleeding.
My preference is to eat fresh fish.
As to imagery,a blushed fish often makes a fabulous photo..........................

Case in point...this is a very good picture, despite being heavily compressed to comply with Photobucket perameters. Given the colored surrounding, the tinged specimen makes a better picture than a Sea Lice dripping Cromer. I fish year 'round, but am not one to pound the tail of any run. I've the luxury of having systems in the backyard that spew bright fish year around and oftentime the same system will boast an overlap of Steelhead runs with their Winter/Spring timings. Red Hot Steelhead action starts late October/early November and runs 'til June. Then it's Sockeye and Coho, with Chinook in the salt. Really isn't a bad problem to have.................

Oftentime,I shoot an understated image, that once you look...it gets deeper. Am partial to such things. The first glance doesn't reveal the broken jaw of the faux Boga, nor the painted stripes upon the rod,for hastily measuring fish prior to their release. There's a hint that the ground is frozen, which eludes to late-Winter/early-Spring run timing and Sea Lice are indicative of it having just left salt. Subtle elegance.......................
