probably crazy charlies. Those work as well... You will find that the fly doesnt make much of a difference most of the time.

i went out this afternoon. fantastic day. The wind was out of the south and blowing pretty hard but we fished a sheltered spot and probably caught 20 fish between 2 of us. fun way to spend 2 hrs.

D3,

Do you always or generally use a boat when SRC fishing? If so, do you fish from the boat, or just use it to access more beaches? I was talking with Tom @ Fishy Business the other day, and he said he uses his boat cuz so many good beaches are private.

Sincerely,

Salmo g.

We were on the beach yesterday. I;d say about 50/50. My favorite beaches are accessable by the public but also a long walk. And i have friends that live conviently on those beaches to i can access spots without the long walk.
A boat is a much more effective way to fish cuts. 1) because of how much ground you can cover and 2) because of how close to the shore those cuts like to sit. I caught one off my boot laces yesterday. Its a lot easier from a boat. And in my situation using the boat can be a ton easier than dealing with driving anywhere.
