you know what kills me this is supposed to be a fishing and hunting board but mainly a fishing board. with tons of people who are registered users. so that means we are all avid outdoorsman who love the same hobbies as everyone else on here. but it never fails that somebody has to be a dick about something. shouldn't everyone on here just get along since we all love the samething. so a guy posts a boat for sale from his company big dam deal. we all have tried to sell things on this board. the only difference between us and bushwacker is that he has a company name and thats it. so come on give it a break. maybe we all should buy an advertiser spot on this board to sell things. i mean for christ sakes the guy is building a tool for fishing. its not like he's on here trying to sell crack.

Nope, I have never been a hall monitor. I do however think that the members on this board should respect the rules that have been put in place by Bob, obviously he, and the moderators, are pretty lenient which is really cool. But out of respect for the people (3 Rivers Marine) that have paid money to advertise their products on this website and the should be respected as well. It doesn't matter if the boat is well made or not, IMO if they aren't a paying advertiser on the site they shouldn't advertise their products on this board. But its obviously not up to me so whatever...Later
Jake Why not just let the moderators make the call. Isn't that THEIR job?

When I first saw the initial post about my "rule breaking" I obviously wanted to spout off and give my piece of mind. I took a long deep breath and decided that spouting wasn't the right thing to do. Instead I sat back, read and observed everybody elses comments. I just wanted to thank Mike and you others who seem to look at the big picture and make some common sense decisions on what's right or wrong. Have I broken a RULE? yeah I probably have. I build 2 maybe 3 boats a year as a hobby. I work full-time for an Airline in Seattle and am a Naval Reservist in Whidbey Island.....I'm not getting rich selling boats! I build them because I enjoy it and because I think I can provide a product for people like all of you in here that will better your outdoor experience. If I ruined this forum by posting one of my boats, I apologize. My experience on forums though has taught me that they get ruined by threads just like this one, people bashing each other online. If you'd like to talk to me about this or about my boat, feel free to call me. Eric Werner (360) 969-1648
