Any guys landing fish on bugs the last week or so after the snowmelt slowed down?
I'm hitting the coastal rivers this coming week (mid week for once)! wahoo!
wondering if you heard anything about springers or steelies of late>?
we will be nymphing long leaders w/ weighted bugs and swinging some marabou feathers to see what's up

Is that last take out on the Hoh River usable? Thinking of a 2 day float? camp on the river bar etc...

Lofty

The take out at barlows is usable but it is not where it used to be and you dont want to miss it or you'll be taking out on the rez. Fishing has been slowwwwwwwwwwww is the word I am getting from friends who are guides and live out there. I know that you did'nt want to hear that but I am just trying to keep it real.-T

TBL:
ok not too surprised the fishing is slow. but we'll still head out.
thanks for heads up. Much appreciated.

WA state salmon and steelhead fishing is all about the boat ride and that occasional gift fish.

Hey Lofty, your statement is so true----I love to float the river's over there, nice scenery and beautiful water, once and awhile even a fish! Good luck.
