i have bought two foodsavers from Costco...my first one stopped working at the beginning of sealing about 40 fish...it was a disaster, costco was not open to run and get another one...had to put fish away and buy the next day...had a lot of it laid out too...anyway...got the new one that is currently at Costco...im not very pleased with it...it seals too fast without sucking all the air out...and you typically have to use the pluse button to get most of the air out...it also requires at least twice the ammount of bag to seal the last seal...with the ammount of the bags cost and so on, i feel like the new one has a lot more bag waste...may seam petty, but i dont like waste, it ticks me off...i would look at a different model than what is currently at costco..its a good deal if you dont go thru as much as me...but i also wait for chicken breast to go on sale for under 1.80 a lb, and buy at least 20lbs at a time....c

I was curious to see what others had to say. I'm having the same problem with the costco one.

I bag up around 100 lbs. of fish a year and the foodsavers always go bad after a couple years , good side is if you buy it at Freddy's take it back minus the bags in the box and exchange it for a new one, have gotten alot of free bags!
