Same logic applies down here with the pinnipeds.

If you shoot wolves to "save" caribou and moose..then you shoot the caribou and moose--you must be in Alaska.


Wolves make herds stronger, by weeding out the lame and sick.

Hunters make herds weaker by targeting the strongest and fittest.

Tell ya what, they are shooting wolves over here because the dumb asses that re-introduced them forgot about the part where they breed like rabbits. Seems a little stupid. Spend a ton of money to put them here and now spend a bunch of money to take them out

Like the Rocky mountain goats in the Olympic National Park, introduced in the late 20's and killed off by WDFW hired snippers and hauled out dead by helocopters in the early 90's, at our expence, BTW. They could have reaped an increadable revenue by selling tags. Morons.
