I'm sick of hauling my 12 gauge around, not to mention the sore shoulder after a day of sporting clays and trap. Any ideas who makes an >AFFORDABLE< semi-auto 20 gauge with a 28 inch barrel?

Charles Daley $375, Remington 1187 $739-875, Smith & Wesson $649. Lots more in the $1,000 range.

Andy's East County Guns can order you whatever you need. Not a lot of stocking dealers of 20ga semi-autos in the Olympia area.

You getting old? ;\) I just picked up a Mossberg 935 3.5" 12ga semi-auto for about $750 with a duck and slug barrel.

Daley eh? That looks like the right price.

Yeah Im getting old. Too much sitting on my ass. Too many beers.

I have an 870 Express Magnum and compared to the other, more modern shotties it weighs a ton. Must be it's cast iron construction.

I checked out East County a couple years back and they seemed to be pretty decent people with a nice selection. I dont deal with the Oly gunshops anymore...The Sportshack is crooked and Wade's/Larry's is overpriced by a mile and refuses to FFL transfer for any less than what they would markup for retail which is usually a few hundred, plus they jacked up thier AK-47 ammo prices which adds up fast when you bump off 30 rounds at a time.

So I did some homewok on Daly. I'm going to avoid them. I dont feel like having to strip a shotty to clear gas ports and re-seat O-rings just to get 5 shots w/o a jam. I think I'll save for the Inertia Montefeltro. It felt good just picking it up.
