Hatchery --> All of the above mentioned

Big Nates --> plugs or Spoons

Yes. I fish tactics dictated by the river conditions and fish I am after.

I will tend to use throughout the year:

rags and shrimp tails
scones and shrimp tails
pink worms
straight eggs

The odd ball jig or plug

I don't put enough time on the water to toss spoons. I wish I could, though.

Are you asking favorite or most productive?

Favorite to use is spoons. Fun way to fish, no bait mess, no leaders and swivels. Just rod, line, spoon, and skill. If I am in the right conditions and locations, I'm swingin' spoons.

I have caught most of my fish on the standard, corkie, yarn and a little bit of eggs or some variation of that.

Well First of all I would agree w/queets guy, If you intend to keep the fish and you fish from a boat... Divers and bait is very effective and easy... But if the waters big, deep, and a little color the rag is killer, that super floatation will get that bait up in real big water(fish only see up).. And the foam keeps scents real well, also like parker said the shrimp tail works great IMO mostly because that heavy water will whipe out your eggs faster then you like....

Im not sure what your rivers like but freedriftin's a killer way to cover alot of water.. maybe that could work too..

Hope this helps..

We toss a lot of crap through out a trip.

Plug the plug water

float fish or drift fish seams

spoon the flats

worm in between the holes by side drifting or you can also Float Dog or ...and the list goes on.

Yo Erik, My eggs where not real! Sportsmans Warehouse has some rubber eggs that look like the real thing. They last a long time too! Scent? Do ya favorite! Those legal?

2/5 or 1/2 oz spoons are my favorite steelhead lures to fish, followed closely by a #3 or #4 spinner (currently fishing the rvrfshr #4 a lot).

But, my most productive is the 1/8oz pink/red yarn jigs I tie myself, tipped with a little prawn meat of course... especially on the hatchery fish. ~josh
