Take a look at Defiance Boats as well as Triton Boats. You said price wasn't an issue.

Cool Dude,
Must be nice to actually be in the market ready to buy seeing how I've been shopping for just such a boat since I was about 10!

I have spent lots of time in both Grady's and Whaler's. Can't go wrong with either one.

Arima owners seem to be quite passionate about them. Very popular here at work and on the water.

Don't think 50K will get you the 21' Outrage I'm eyeballing though!

Verles made me a deal on a brand new but year old 115 4 stroke for power. You might save $ by asking if your dealer has any 2007 engines to put on your 2008 boat.

Not sure about all motor mfg'rs but Yamaha stopped giving model year designations after 2005. For example: a T8 with a mfg date of 12/07 but sold 1/1/08 is a model year 2008

Unless there was a modification made to the design of the motor, in which case it would get a new model number. As in the the old F15 is now an F15c.

Yamaha made this change to help it's dealers... you don't have product on your shelves you have to heavily discount because of the mfg date, at the end of the year.

A friend of mine purchased a Grady from a dealer in Florida, saved quite a bit even after shipping it up here. When he sold it, let's just say he made out pretty dam good.

Parker is the way to go, before the current explosion of aluminum boats Parkers were the boat of choice in Alaska for years.
