I was thinking of drifting from the park down. Wondering if there was anyone who has made the trip recently. I have not done it this year but made about six trips last year and it was alright. Any bad jams or problems to watch for. Any help would be good and yes we know how to run the sticks.
I saw a pic of a tree spanning the whole river and heard of some bad jams eating some boats. That type of stuff.

All reports have said that it has changed for the worse. Bob posted recently that there are many potential bad spots. Bad woody spots.

Also, the Oxbow Rapid has changed for the worse. It has been the opinion of every guide who fishes it regularly that it is gonna take down some boats this year...

Pull hard and don't miss a stroke...

What ever happened with you and your adventure with the 19' db??

Did you do those drifts that folks were warning about?

I took this pic from my helicopter last weekend of the recent changes to the Hoh Oxbow...
You can clearly see the new objective dangers. No wonder folks were being warned!

Be careful out there!

Some tourist camping at the Oxbow took this pic of us barely missing the big rock at the bottom of the Oxbow. Pic was taken during the last big high water:
