Captain
I have never blaimed Holcomb for haveing to come in on the kicker. If you read back, it was very stupid of me not to give the boat a good run for a couple of days.
I Called Mr. Holcomb the next day and only asked how he arrived at this price. Iasked how a compression check could cost $158.00 and his answer was "well you have to do a reading 3 or 4 times". I asked about his charge for toping off the outdrive fluid. He right away come back with " What are you driving at, I never screwed you out of $5.00. By his attitude It was apparent I was not going to get anywhere.
I did not start this to start an uproar on PP. To this board I appolize. I only presented what had happened and what I had paid for you people to make your own judgement. As for the Captain, He still ignors the main question as to how you could justify these charges. He has accomplised 2 things.
1-I will get off this board because it's purpose is to inform and learn. I think you can look threw this post and see the Captain is a minority.
2- He has made me realize my only recourse is to file a small claims suit against Mr. Holcomb. That should settle the question. If there anyone who would like to voice there experience with Mr. Holcomb my e-mail is
