Ok, Thanks. I've got some more switching out to do.

Done & done. First drift of the year and I hooked up almost instantly. A couple dogs & a nice silver. Solid hook up just like you guys said. Right in the corner of the mouth. I loved it. Lots more fishing to do. Thanks a bunch.

Here is a solution I came up with a couple of years ago. It has a 2/0 on a bead chain. The thing I do is tie a small lenght of mono to the rear of the lure, then just run the mono through the splitring. This holds the hook close to the body.

Slabhunter, while reading through this post I saw the pix of your plugs with the siwash setup. Are the plugs in that picture a custom paint job or are these a stock pattern? I think that is one awsome looking plug. Do you have some specifics you would share? If not I fully understand.

Thanks, RJ in Montana

The plugs in the image are a stock color Worden's Fatfish. I believe Storm Lures and Brads Wigglers are available in a similar pattern.
I like to fish them like the guys you see on the weekend bass shows, cast retrieve over six to ten foot water, near structure.
