Poaching is not cool but I wish people would stop feeding deer as if they are pets. These things are pests around my place.

I had the beloved cow, Bessie, for dinner last night.

Tonight, the beloved pig, Wilbur, is on the menu.

It's a shame to see the deer go to waste, but I see no problem shooting those damn nuisance deer as long as you put it to good use.
I have a buddy on Whidbey that has tons of his kick ass landscaping destroyed by deer every year. He has to put so many fences around it that it seems like all his plants are in prison.

I have deer around my place that I am currently trying to kill and tag and eat, saw 5 this morning, the only problem was that they all were in yards. Back in the day that did not stop me, but now days I am a parent and suppossed to be setting an example. Stam you are right, the news will cover it all the same wether it is legal or not, Bambi is dead and that is all that matters to them .

Peace

I'd like to take a hockey stick to those turkeys in downtown La Conner.

Evidence is bad. One thing I've learned.
I saw those turkeys last year before a ling trip. They were brazen. I got out of the truck and took a few pictures before scurrying back to the safety of my rig.
Leland give me a call and tell me how you guys did sat and sun!
I think I'm heading back out there on Monday.

They had one of the gals on the news today showing her deer feeder in the yard. Looked like it had corn in it.

It would have been perfect if they arrested her right there on camera.

Who feeds deer??? The apple tree in my back yard brings enough of them around.

Apples are seasonal and the harvest does coincide with the hunting season. Too bad beavers don't taste good. Two weeks ago, when the last of my apples had been either picked up by me or the beaver and coons, a beaver took it out on my TREE!

Beaver does taste good (if you quote me for a double meaning of that last sentence, then you are not that funny because that fruit is pretty low hanging (If you qoute me about the fruit being pretty low hanging then you are not that funny because that is hardly a joke)). If a beaver is shot and not drowned you can eat the flanks/backstrap? They are illegal to kill unless you have a nuisance permit, but I've had it twice now, and the meat has great flavor and texture. Sort of a cross between pork and venison.

Sorry to ruin yor fun, but the humor on this board has become a little too predictable, I had to preclude any stupid entendre jokes.

On this board the following sample of words get the same tired lame responses: rod, salami, beaver, hole, geyser, axe wound, pole, piston, meat, sack, goo, batter, lunker lotion, rubber gloves, latex gloves, Enumclaw, cork, DVDA, spawn, ram, junk, de-bone and snatch.
