I have what I think is an older G-LOOMIS fly rod. GL4, FR 1208-3, 10', 8 weight, matte green finish, carbon fiber reel seet. Any idea how much somthing like this is worth?

$200.00 max, but probably more like $150.00 or less.
The GL4 was far the the greatest fly rod Loomis ever made. That might explain why they didn't make them for very long.

GL 4 was their slow action rod, I thinking. Made to replicate a bamboo or glass rod feel. Didn't stay on the market very long.

Is that about how it casts, slow action ?
