Hey Sol, good luck with this. My family has an addictive tendency, and I get addicted to things like fishing or sports or whatever really easy, so I decided I'll never drink alcohol. It's hard at times, especially in college, but I have lots of fun and a great life without the stuff. You will be a stronger and better person once you are clean. God bless.

What you are undertaking will take determination, But if it is important and you are mindful of your goals they will be attained... good luck. and for the record I have wrestled with a few addictions, the worse of them fortunatly is a distant memory. Just stay out of the bars...hmmmm?

You'll just have to fish more, instead of drinking. I'm glad I am not a good drunk. I hated waking up to a mess and a waisted day. Fishing was too much fun to give up for a beer or a bottle. You made the right choice.

Woww,Cool just to get past all the bull Tim the bottom line is only you can keep you sober!! this means no drugs of any kind sugar is Ok and coffee is a must but your friends, wife, kids, AA, rehab none of it will work unless you want it, believe me from a 30 year addict thou clean and sober is great!!! Plus side is you get your health back emotionally and physically and financially which is the best part!
