The guy at the fly shop told me it was going to revolutionize my casting, but what I realized is that I don't like fast actioned rods. Everything I am listing was purchased in the last 3 1/2 months and has less than 10 hours of use total: Sage RPL+ 8100 10' 3-piece 8wt. with tube and bag in excellent condition: $450. STH MR-POP reel ($70 new) with four extra casettes ($10 ea. new). Four of the casettes are filled with the following lines: Scientific Angler's Mastery Series Steelhead Taper WF8F with 160 yds. of 30lb. backing. Cortland 444SL Clear Intermediate sink-tip WF8I with 195yd. of 30lb. backing, Cortland 444 Quick Descent 325gr. Salmon/Steelhead sink tip with 220yd of 30lb. backing. Cortland 444 Quick Descent 425gr. sink-tip, no backing. One empty casette. The reel, lines, and casettes all go for $150, which is equal to the reel plus the SciAng line with backing alone.
