If you had your druthers? For me Halibut...hands down! To me, nothing swimming in fresh or salt beats it! What is your favorite fish to eat?

No doubt my favorite as well. Nothing over 40lbs though. Give me a good pingpong paddle anytime. Tasty.

Lingcod, halibut, walleye, swordfish, albacore tuna, rockfish, Pacific true cod, Cajun-fried channel catfish, Rufus Woods triploids, salmon... in about that order.

Fresh albacore grilled, halibut then it gets into a toss up between black sea bass, lingcod, rockfish and cabezon. It is pretty tough to beat the fish de jour' though- for me part of the satisfaction comes from procurement and what is on hand is what is best at the time.

Sturgeon, Halibut, Salmon, Ling in that order. I though halibut was my favorite right up until I started catching Sturgeon. My FAV hands down.

Cabezon, lingcod, halibut. In that order. Vedder, seriously, I ain't stalking your taste in fish, but those are my sentiments exactly. Real soon we'll be eating all them fresh, quite often, can't wait. P.S. Don't eat the cabezon roe. Look it up on the internet. I found out after I gave some to some Chinese friends.

That will probably save someone from visiting E.R. Not in any particular order but I've enjoyed these types of fish in the past and still like them.  Ahi, Sablefish, Ling, Cabezon, Monk fish, Hamachi, Halibut, Yellow eye, Rock Cods, SeaBass, Albacore tuna, True cod, Pollack, Chinook, Coho, Steelhead, P.S. squid, Surf Perch, Sardines, mackerels, pike mackerels.
