The lat road trip was good. It is at home that seems to be hurting us the most. Keep Batista off the mound and it should be good. If only there were a way to let him pitch for two or three innings without it counting then he would be good. But nearly every time that guy takes the mound, he puts a couple of guys on base in the first half inning he plays.

His performance went unnoticed for me for a long time. The we got rid of the putz Putz and the terrible inconsistency came screaming out of the closet.

Maybe it is just my luck that I watch all the games that they seem to lose at home. It is only a couple game spread though. So I would go with toss up on that one.

In any case, the games in the first couple moths of the season were lost due to a SERIOUS lack of run support. I did try to find the stats that you show and couldn't so I will admit that I was throwing that one out there in the dark a bit. Thanks for the clarification. Now where did you get that gouge so I can spare myself any apologies later on?

I watch damn near every game. THEY'RE ON FIRE.

The only good thing to happen to the giants is Johnson. And he is on his twilight tour. Kind of like Griffey for us. Just seat fillers. Except Griffey has made some positive contributions this year. Alright I take it back. I reinstate all previous contradictory remarks and hold my ground regardless of what black and white statistics say. I will fight for the wrong cause regardless of how long I have to be wrong for. In the mean time, the giants suck, the niners suck, the raiders suck, and Hawks and Mariners kick ass and could beat anyone of the perspective teams on any given day. So there...now piss off!

We may have to go catch a game during the inter-league play next season. Assuming the Mariners will be playing them Gnats next year. There is going to be plenty of over hauling going on this off season. Maybe even a couple of last minute trades before the deadline. With Bedard and Batista hopefully leaving and/or getting traded that would free up a serious amount of green backs for some new, younger talent. Hell, we would get 9.5 mil just by getting rid of an over rated, over paid pissy ass closer named Batista. I never like Bedard. I would gladly take a swift kick in the nuts if it meant that we could off load his negative mindset from the locker room. It doesn't help to have a guy like him on the roster or in the locker room bringing guys down. Never a good situation when a guy is somewhere he doesn't want to be.

The best pick up we have gotten so far this year, I think, I Hannahan. I about crapped myself when I heard that the A's were gonna give him to us. Fresh blood and motivation is nice to see. The offensive side of the house will come around. It just takes time when you are trying to overhaul the roster and the check book at the same time.

The Mariners are the biggest reason Seattle was voted the most miserable sports city in America several years ago before the Hawks made their big run. Rip away the Sonics... and the M’s making the playoffs hardly ever. Didn’t give us much to root for. I still hate Howard Shultz to this day for that. I literally hate him. The only good thing he has done for me is make me money as a shareholder... and setting a policy for employees to give me free coffee each time I bitchh about how awful it is the very few times I go there out of convenience if there is nowhere else to go.

I hate Shultz more than Clay Bennet. Clay got what he had comin’ though... still no ring.
