Good luck with your guide out there tomorrow morning. We got some K's this morning C/R in 10.
Tell Tommy to bring his pots. I got some BIG crab today as well.
I didn't get a lot but what I got were sweet.

No. You're gonna get flogged over that one for a long, long, time...

We'll see if my guide is worth his weight in salt, or is that in the salt? rofl

I'm thinking I'll be in good company tomorrow. Now, if I could figure out how long of a leader to use.....and what color hootchie.....

Hot color out there today was blue. I know.....blue. Who'd a thunk?
Buddy I was with had blue coho killer. I made a joke about it. Fifteen minutes later up comes a decent nate king. Hmmmm.
Dude I was with doesn't fish much. I did rerig the blue ck with a split ring/barrel/todd hook....so I'll take partial credit moose
Strange stuff. I heard one of our board regulars who guides in ten was hot on blue yesterday. Funny how that stuff works.

Water's warm...come on up and live a little.

Life is short and it pays to know that in advance.

Just to close the loop. Left Monroe @ 3:30 and was fishn by 7. The big CR was sunny and lots of wind. Socks out, kicker in reverse but there was fish. I ended up fishn just above Kalama. Bout 7 boats around and three fish landed, none of which was from my boat. Two were June Hogs one on a K15 the other on a 048 Mag wart. Should have fished the Sky, atleast a skunk wouldn't have cost me 6 hours on the road with no fish. I'll try crab'n Saturday. I'll be finger pruned, belly full and beer goggled for fireworks. Ahh, gotta love the Puget Sound!
