There is going to be plenty of over hauling going on this off season. Maybe even a couple of last minute trades before the deadline. With Bedard and Batista hopefully leaving and/or getting traded that would free up a serious amount of green backs for some new, younger talent. Hell, we would get 9.5 mil just by getting rid of an over rated, over paid pissy ass closer named Batista. I never like Bedard. I would gladly take a swift kick in the nuts if it meant that we could off load his negative mindset from the locker room. It doesn't help to have a guy like him on the roster or in the locker room bringing guys down. Never a good situation when a guy is somewhere he doesn't want to be.

The best pick up we have gotten so far this year, I think, I Hannahan. I about crapped myself when I heard that the A's were gonna give him to us. Fresh blood and motivation is nice to see. The offensive side of the house will come around. It just takes time when you are trying to overhaul the roster and the check book at the same time.

The Mariners are the biggest reason Seattle was voted the most miserable sports city in America several years ago before the Hawks made their big run. Rip away the Sonics... and the M’s making the playoffs hardly ever. Didn’t give us much to root for. I still hate Howard Shultz to this day for that. I literally hate him. The only good thing he has done for me is make me money as a shareholder... and setting a policy for employees to give me free coffee each time I bitchh about how awful it is the very few times I go there out of convenience if there is nowhere else to go.

I hate Shultz more than Clay Bennet. Clay got what he had comin’ though... still no ring.
