i am looking for a kicker for my boat... new or old.... even if its broken post a reply..

I have a 1967 Johnson 6 hp. Starts and runs as close to perfect as you can get for age.
Although it needs a new throttle arm, you can't adjust speed with the existing one.
It has been in my family since new and been well taken care of, but it does look it's age.

My Dad has 3 evinrude's he's selling as a package. All 9.9's. One is perfect, run's great. Other runs good, tiller pivot has a tendancy to slip gears. Third doesn't run, but has electric start. Can be parted out and help rebuild 2nd into perfect. He wants I think $600 for all 3. You can buy all three, get other one built back up, and virtually have one for free.

Just an option.

It turns over, the shifter works, and the prop turns easily, but I can't get it to run.

The ignition is points and a condenser, and I don't have the time or the knowledge to fiddle with it. Maybe you would like to take a chance?
